Default is return fuel line needed, can regulator be placed next to tank?

going to run a in-tank pump

is there any reason the fuel-pressure regulator can't be placed next to the tank, or does it need to be near the engine for some reason?

If you use the corvette filter w/ the built in requlator they are usually close to the tank from the factory. I assume you could run any regulator like this.

Mine is the Corvette part, right next to the tank also. I don't see why you couldn't run any other regulator the same....as long as it's a bypass type.

If your fuel feed line is small and requires the higher pressure to keep up with demand the regulator should be closer to the motor.
