if you didnt need the tube on the end, you could order the fittings from ATI Performance, their #6ANx1/4-18 straight thread, screw right in-only trouble on the 4l80e you need that little piece of tube-i experimented drilling one of the ATI fittings out and pressing a piece of 3/8 tubing in it, with a little locktite-only worry would be if it slipped out
another thought was to take the stock fitting, mill off part of the head, then weld a #6 steel male bung on it-the closer you keep the fitting to the trans, the more clearance you would have
if anyone makes some, i would be interested in one
