2003 Silverado air intake temp sensor part#?
2003 Silverado air intake temp sensor part#? I'm having no luck at GM finding this sensor. The one that goes on the air intake itself.. Like the title its the air intake temp sensor.
On Gm parts direct.... I found one part number but it says it includes the MAF? Which I don't need lol.
Any help would be much appreciated.

What color plug and wires, I believe I have the same plug on my harness (its about a foot down the harness where it branches right), but that plug is for the coolant level sensor.

My MAF has wires pink, yellow, tan, black and black with white trace. The coolant level switch is a white plug with a light green wire and a black wire. if your plug has those wires check to see if the light green wire goes to pin 30 of the blue PCM connector, if it does then it is definently for the low coolant level switch. The black wire is a ground for the sensor.

The coolant level sensor goes in the radiator to warn you if the coolant level gets too low. It is not needed in a conversion, and is really just a convenience feature for people who would not check their coolant level regularly. In my conversion I just abandoned the wires, it would be kinda neat to have it hooked up but I don`t really see the need and have not been that bored yet. Mabey someday I will put a sensor in and hook it up.
