Doubt it. those cars are too expensive to do anything extensive like that. it could be done but why after you just bought a 25-30k car.

Agreed. Give it at least another five years or so, then swaps such as these will definitely be more common...

I've seen a few people put Nissan V8s in them, but that's the closest thing I can think of.

Thanks.

Not really. When ever I go to Books A Million to pick up GMHTP and Engine Masters I always look at all the major car magazines and that's mostly where I've seen them. Super Street, Honda Tuner, MM + FF, Modified Mustangs, and many others, got to know what the enemies are up to.

i dont see the point. we have a g35 down here with 750rwhp with a 3.8l stroked twin turbo vq35de. theres no real benefit of spending that much aon a swap into a car like that.
a 240 for example is much lighter and a great handling paltform. plus hinsonsupercars makes a mounting kit for the swap. Theres also a shop down here that has put a ls1 in a miata.

Default V8 Twin Turbo G35

If the Nissan VK45 will fit an LSx will fit better. And they still had space for twin turbos.

That twin turbo V8 G35 is in a Super Street I have at home on my book shelf, didn't think of that one. It was done by Top Secret.

Here's a link to some RX7s with LSx engine swaps. It kind of gets off topic, but still has some good pics.

7 flats requires a bit more then 950 HP. Brian has went bests of either low 9's or VERY high 8's. It's never really went cleanly down the track on a consistent basis though.

And yes, there are quite a few LS1 RX7s around here.

Quick Reply: any one put an ls1 in a 350z or g35?
