Default f body 98 to 02 computer motor swap?

Is it possible to change some of the pin connections to get the guages to function properly. I have a 2002 motor, 4l60e, wiring harness and computer. Looking for a way to make it work instead of trying to find a 98 harness. The car had an ls1 but through a rod and is dead. Any help or advice is appreciated.

I think that it is but I don`t have wiring diagrams for an 02 so I can`t tell you for sure. The gauges should be able to function with some rewiring, but for the temp gauge you will need to run a temperature sending unit for a 98. The speedo, voltmeter, oil pressure gauge and tach should all be able to be made functional relatively easily.

I have a 1998 PCM and wiring harness, I'll swap with your PCM and harness straight up - problem solved!
