Does my car have a cam? vid. this thing sounds pretty nasty if it's a stock cam motor.. anyone know? Idle is about 600rpm i think. open headers. it makes loud popping sounds if i rev it slowly or on decel, but I think it's just going a little lean because it hasnt been through the "learning cycle" thing. My check engine light says all systems go, I havent scanned for codes yet. I dont have O2 sensors in at the moment (heard they arent needed for the first couple minutes of running) and I need 02 extensions.

i'm guessing it doesnt, but this engine had weird crap on it when I got it, it just might have a cam. LS6 intake, ASP pulley, some strange manifolds i've never seen before, non-matching heads.. im guessing someone would know better than I would
My motor came off a car that had full cat back exhaust, F**k shift kit and i dont know what else he might have installed. I noticed that the belt tensioner bolt was broke off??? Could someone tried to get in there or they did?? I just think that the O2 need to be pluged in order for the car to relearn everything.... Not sure bro

Sounds like a stock cam. The popping noise is most likely coming from hot exhaust gases that are igniting as soon as it reaches the end of the collector (ambient air). Have a buddy run the engine while you look under the car. Chances are you will see a light show.
You are probably not getting the O2 code because the pcm doesn't look for the info from the O2 sensors untill the system goes into closed loop. If you let the engine run untill the ect comes up, you will get a code.

Dude,
I'd be concerned about that oil pressure gauge. Mine sets at 60 psi when it's idling, and from what I've read, 60 is about right. In your video, it looks like it's sitting at 25. Any concerns?
