6.0L Bravada RUNS! It RUNS!
Fired my 6.0L / 4L80E in my 1999 Bravada for the very first time yesterday. Everything worked the way it was supposed to, even fired on the first crank.
Still not driveable, just yet, since the cooling system is incomplete. But hopefully this week I'll figure out the upper radiator hose, and air intake tubing done (so I can run an air filter) and be able to run and drive it without worries of melting it or eating something that would disagree with it (like birds, bolts, small children, etc).

Once I get her on the street, I'll see about taking and posting some pictures.

Got to play with it today. Got the cooling system and air intake stuff done yesterday.
I'm very pleased with it! Its raining (Ernesto is just getting here) so I couldn't get on it much (that and the trans cooler fan isn't hooked up yet) but the quick burst or 2 was exciting. Especially since I don't have a front driveshaft yet and I'm running in 2wd. Those poor rear tires didn't have much of a chance.
Still have some stuff to do in order to get it on the road, but it won't be long now. Going on vacation for a week starting tomorrow! Yippee!
I promise I'll take some pics upon my return.
