Dumb cooling system question

On an LSx (or any other GM motor), does the water enter the radiator from the top and exit the bottom or vice versa?

Other way around. The water flows out the top of the water pump into the top of the radiator on the driver's side, then from the bottom on the passenger's side in through the waterneck/thermostat.

Jeff (70 lS1) is correct. Water flows top to bottom.

easy way for me to remeber is which hose always blows? the top hose, it's under pressure, where as the bottom has the spring in it because it's under suction.

Ls1450,
You better check to make sure you wired your electric water pump correctly. If not it will flow the other way. I have the electric water pump as well but no T-stat.
