Default Started the first try

Now for the but it died after running only a few seconds. It does this everytime does that mean that my VATS didn't get disabled? Here is a video of it wanting to run [IMG][/IMG] I'm happy and sad at the same time.

that truck looks really familiar. ive seen it or one exactly like it a few times right by my house. very clean. back on topic. yes it is the vats causing that problem. its cutting out the fuel. get a bypass box to fix that.

Does the vats just shut off the fuel pump or something else as well. I by passed the fuel pump relay and it still died.

It shuts off the signal to the injectors. Bypassing the FP relay isn't going to do you any good.

Yup...VATS. You can order a bypass box online... or if you want to make one.. check this site out.

Or you can send it out to a place like speartech and get it programmed out totally.

Last night I was disappointed I was not being able to run my engine. I bought my harness from Speartech and when I was laying in bed last night I was thinking to myself "I doubt John forgot to take out the VATS." This also says something about buying your parts from someone with a great reputation.

So when I got up this morning I decided that I should check everything again to make sure I didn't miss something. Well guess what, I had a large hole without a plug in it on the back of the j-tube for the supercharger, a GIANT vaccum leak I installed a cap in it and no more starting and dying.

NICE! That thing looks and sounds bad ***!! Thats pretty weird how it sounded exactly like VATS shutting down the motor. Thats awsome that you figured it out. It always seems like no matter how much you go over everything, there is always that one little thing that slips by. I think its because you get so close that excitment takes over haha. Good work!
