Hehe, I remember when I was in elementary, I'd put blower hats like that on just about any car I drew. I even did a Lamborghini Countach with the top part of a blower like that sticking out.

That just made my childhood vision more of a reality

Something tells me a 1071 blower might be a bit much for a stock cubed LS1 at least. I could be wrong tho...haha

Edit: I just read its only a 671 or 871 that would be a bit more realistic. It looked bigger than that to me.

just buy the 871 off pony, and machine off a ls1 edelbrock aluminum intake above the injector bosses, and put a plate/plenum on it with a weiand bolt pattern. wouldnt be difficult if you've got the tools.

If it was me I would go with a kenne bell blower. It would be cheaper and smaller and make about as much boost as you could want.

kenne bell isnt gunna make 30+psi

an 8-71 can produce more power than an lsx block can prolly handle

Ya thats kind what I was saying. The kenne bell should make just north of 20 psi on an LS1 and thats really more than enough. You definitely can't go that high without sleeving or switching to an iron block. Of course how much power is too much power is relative...haha

I have enough room under the hood of my 1935 Ford to stuff that bad-boy in there with room to spare. Totally stealth......I'd leave the whitewalls on it too. Just think, no more wimpy semi-stock LS1. Heh, heh.
