god damn! that makes my camaro look like an elephant! it weighed 3500lbs after removing everything ( its an iron block, s/c , slp sfc, 12 bolt , t-top car) and that includes the insulation and underdash stuff!
can't wait to see what my notch stang weighs!
i have the k-member, welds, nothing under the dash, and a th-400 . anyone care to guess before i weigh it?
man your numbers got me itching to try out mine! it has a big cam, 3.27 gears, 3500 stall, long tubes, and a 125 shot + alc. injection . any guesses on how fast it would be?

a friend of mine is going to fab it. if i ever sell the car, almost everybodies first question is if it's a moly cage, so it'll help resale value or at least be a positive selling point. besides, he's only charging me $800 for an 8pt C/M tig welded roll bar with dual swingouts! i can't complain about the price, especially for the quality work he does. he did a through the dash cage for me previously and it was perfect!!! so for a simpler roll bar, i'll definately go back to him again.

i've got a shell with an 8pt. through the dash moly cage & dual swingouts i'll be selling here VERY shortly. i've just got to get the interior back together. for anyone who's interested in seeing some pics, go to..........
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2256685
the interior was converted from grey to Black with all Year One prep & paint products and looks like new. i only need the drivers side A-pillar to complete it and you'll need seats. the car will come without the gauge pkg, no shifter, and the front end and 8.8 rear end have been returned to stock units in unknown condition. stock hood too. this is to be made into some form of a race type car so that wont make a bit of difference to someone looking for that. all wiring is functional including lights, wipers, signals, instrumentation when it was connected, p/w, p/t, but never checked the p/mirrors. you will need new door & trunk lock cylinders as the factory ones froze up & were tossed, but the column is perfect. i've got $1600 into the cage, which only needs the 2 rear diagnal bars behind the seats to be a true 10pt cage to certify to 8.50ET. the engine bay has been smoothed and painted a flat black for appearence. there is a light scrape down the side of the car from brushing up against the garage and 2 small dings in it at the wheel well lip from it. there are no tears and no rust period from it, it was minor. the ONLY rust on the entire car is on the bottom lip of the trunk lid. this was a Florida car and then Arizona before making it to Wisconsin as a roller and now i've got it. i paid $1500 for the car because it is extremely clean!
bottom line.....i'm going to let it go for the price of the cage at $1600. my loss is your gain. feel free to pm me if you're interested, and NO......it's not the black car, it's the red one.
