Question What is this called?

What is the brass part of this cable called (the one that hooks to the TB) and are they sold in stores?

I am guessing they are, I just don't know what they're called so I can't call around.

Summit Racing gave me the wrong part for the third time in a row so I'm on a mission to hack the bad end off and replace it with something else.

Do you know if they will fit in the hole of an LS1 TB where it's supposed to?

You might try a hardware store or check you local Yellow pages for a shop or supplier of Steel Cables and Supplies.

motocycle shops may have ones that you can solder on for there brake/clutch cables or bikecycle shops.

Hobby shop ... didn't think about that. Good idea

I was going to hit the bike shop after work, but I like the idea of hobby shop better.

(Too bad I can't give positive reputation for answering the question )

EDIT: I also found they are called a "brake cable stop" or a "wire stop", if anyone is interested. Several here: http://www.gokartsupply.com/thcable.htm

I went to Ace hardware yesterday, no help from them at all.

Went to ADvance Auto Parts last night and they had a kit from Dorman in the HELP! section of the store that had several diff't sizes. Going to give that a shot today. The part number is HELP! - 03336 "Cable Stop Clamps". Worked like a champ.

Thanks for all the replies.
