I have been on a quest to convert my clutch line over to my s-10 Clutch master and have come up with some quick connect fittings that allow me to use -4 lines and ditch that quick disconnect.

This fitting Will install in the place of the stock style fitting and uses the stock roll pin. This can be used in almost all late model gm clutch masters and slaves. You can remove the stock f-body fitting from the throw out bearing or from the slave and install this..... these are kind of expensive but being able to convert the stock slave to a -4 style fitting is well worth the cost.
I snapped a few pics and can get you guys some part numbers If you want.

 

-3 and -4 teflon fittings ARE expensive..

$20 ea i'm guessing?

what a rip off.. that part takes less than a minute in a CNC lathe to make.

while i totally agree with you 100%, i have yet to find someone that makes them.
what i need is one for the slave that has the fitting sticking out far enough that its at teh bellhousing level.
then i can stick a -4an banjo on my master cyl and connect the two with braided line...

if you have the hookup with a CNC lathe to do this, i'll pay ya the same "ripoff price" as above.

btw, i learned that some Jeeps use the same fittings as GM does... thats the breakthru thats letting me find more adapters!

If they say it is okay I will list it all, the jeep units are actually a tad smaller than these they work but have some play (movment). These are specific for the gm applications.

They are not that long but you can run the braided line in and secure it before installing the transmission.

if anyone wants to make one in SolidWorks, i can have some made and sell them at cost. i've got a buddy with a CNC shop but my laptop's down for the count as of right now, so I cant draw them up myself. what exactly are you looking for? wouldnt the o-ring/roll pin to -4male be easiest?

What is the advantage of going with the -3/-4an line over the stock? If it is anything other than it being a conversion and some needing a longer/shorter line from the master to the slave?

 

the stock line has a pretty bad restriction in the first couple inches, and AN teflon line will flow better and is higher quality (more flow without pressure drop = quicker action)
