Anyone have a diagram of how they solved the wiper wiring? Thanks, Ken.

i did mine with a toggle switch so i have just high wipers. the info i found on the wiper is in my post. what the hell, i copy it for you.

here some info i found and used for my wind sheild wipers. i hooked up just enough to have high on a toggle switch. will do more to them later.

The wiper motor itself has 5 wires:
Black, Lightgreen, Lightgreen/red, Lightgreen/Black, and orange.
THe black runs right to ground.
The Lightgreen hits power both to the wiper motor, the wiper amplifier. Oh, and the washer motor. ITs switched 12V.
Lightgreen/Red runs right to F3 plug, and on to the switch. Wipers: Low
So does Lightgreen/Black, wipers: high
The orange wire simply runs to the amplifier.
COming out of the amplifier, you have 6 wires.
We already know orange goes to the motor-
We know Lightgreen gets switched 12V from F3 (its on a 20Amp fuse, carefull what you tie in)
The PINK wire hits the washer & amplifier with a ground, from the main wiper switch
Blue/yellow runs from Wiper amplifier, into F3, then to wiper switch
Purple goes into F3 from the amp, SE 240sx model only, Some kind of variable wiper thihng.
Brown actually runs FROM the wiper switch, comes OUT of F3 as brown and runs to the amp.

8:41 Brown Off and Int switch for WIpers, from F3 to Wiper Amp
7:42 Lightgreen/Red Wiper Low gets grounded to activate
6:43 Lightgreen/Black Wiper high gets grounded to activate
5:44 LightGreen Gives power to the wipers & amplifier & washer (switched 12V 20Amp)
4:45 pink Wash switch (for windows & motor) grounds when you hit the switch

Look at the link "S13 SR20DET into an S14". That should give you enough info along with the S14 FSM.

It's too simple to pay for it to be done as long as you still have the wiper, the wiper amplifier, and the F3 connectors.

now tha ti think about it. why couldnt you just match the wires from the plugs to the f3 plug off your old s14 harness??? i guess it depends if you still have it or not.

That's what I'm doing. I found my old F3 plug...if you have it you can use it as a good source for ignition power and other things. I'm even going to run my check engine light through it and hopefully get it to show up on the stock gauge cluster among other things...

I remember that a Japanese company (JUN) had a 700hp 2.2 Liter SR in an S14 with only two things done to the rear...

1)Custom Rear Subframe
2)Cusco LSD unit

and managed to run an 8.8 or better in the 1/4 mile using stock axles, ring and pinion, etc. (as reported by Sport Compact Car in an issue back in 98 or so.)

So, yeah, the R200 is a pretty nice diff and they're not too hard to find if you do manage to blow one up.

Nice! Is there a vid of it out there? He's 2JZ powered, right?

Been trying to convince my buddy with a turbo 2JZ SC300 to do an S14 w/ a glide and a 2JZ.

cant find the vid but ill post if it do. btw for the wipers i just deleted everythinng on my f3 plug but the wiper things, CEL, Tach and Speedo for the cluster. helle ven coolant temp. im using a s14 ka coolant temp sensor on the ls1, it actually threads in perfectly on the driverside head where the GM unit goes :]. only thing i need right now is to just find something that will calibrate the speedo signal to read right on the cluster and see whats involved in getting the right rpm readout.

Yeah, I used to use a Corvette coolant temp sensor on my SR (was running Electromotive TEC III) so I knew they were interchangeable. It's a good thing, since I'm using an Apex'i coolant temp gauge (not a big fan of Autometer).

I'm going to see what Dakota Digital can do about getting the speedo to work.
