LS1 motor plate i have a fox body mustang, its a drag car and i am in the process of putting a ls1 in the car, i need a motor plate. has anyone done a similar conversion? i have seen some at thunder racing but all i could find are plates to convert into a f body, i think they will be a little too narrow. thanks for any help. -jacob

its a flat sheet of aluminum 1/4"-3/8" thick that bolts to the front of the block and mounts to the frame rails/cage and eliminates the use of stock location motor mounts. works really good on a drag car.
this question was just asked here. unfortunately, the last time i looked at the thread nobody knew of anyone that currently makes one. you can always have one made though.

right, but universal means it has all the appropriate holes & openings for your accessories, but you'll still have to modify it to fit your frame rails of course, but it's a good start.
