Did he use the R32 crossmember or just reccomend using it. I was told my Slo_240 to use the R33 crosssmeber. That is why I bought one.

I agree with that also. I picked up the R32 crossmember with the same thought, although it is going to have to go in the car for some mock-up time as well. Unfortunately, this means it will probably not be a roller for most of the time doing the swap. I just figure I will take this time to rebuild the front-end and never have to do this again. Fortunately for me it is not a daily driver, so having it down for a period of time is not really a major concern.

Ya sounds good, good luck on the project. Guess I was wrong on the R32 crossmember fitting sorry about that, just misenformed or misunderstood. I really need my car to stay a roller so I can roll it in and out of the school shop.

^ no problem. My motor is coming in next week. I have the r32 x-member and just ordered a gto oil pan. I'll put the engine on a stand and get some mock up pictures to get a basic idea of how it'll fit. A shop owner is helping me install the LS1 with the rb20 x-member. I'll be sure to get enough info as I can in the coming weeks.

regardless of what x member you use mounts will still work the same. just attach at different angles and be forward or backward in placement. do what you want but stock is free and works.

I just made an LS13 with a 2004 GTO engine in it. Just put on the driveshaft and test drive it when i get the shaft back from shopping now. . I havent made a thread anywhere yet. But ive got som pictures. so maybe i have to make a thread.

the clutchpump from the gto fits great. the same with the servo hose. bolts right on the nissan hose, the left stock header clears the steering joint. have to modify the other one slightly. The shifter comes up further back than the Camaro shifter, which is great for me

Fouz65, how do you like your exhaust? And hows it sound? I want to do something similar, but dual 3" to single 4". Also, what muffler are you using? Magnaflow?

Is everyone using Hinson's headers?
