im swapping the truck oil pan on my lq9 motor to the F body style and had a question regarding the pickup tube o-ring.. is there a difference between the o-ring for truck pick up tubes vs. F body? the o-ring is green and fits nicely on the F body pick up tube and into the oil pump, but i dont want to get this together and find out i have the wrong o-ring. thanks

Its fatter and gets rid of loss of pressure and lifter noise problems on some Gen III powered vehicles.

I just went through this (although not on a conversion) and the O-Ring I got from the dealer was blue. Oil pressure is now at 45psi at idle and 60 psi when running (2000+ rpms). Good luck!
