I need quick advice on a price for an LS1
What would be a REAL good price on a 98 LS-1, with an automatic, and computer and harness. The drivetrain has 85,000 miles on it.
What do you experts think?

$1600 is an awesome price I'd buy that in a heart beat.
Just a FYI.....I had to get my 98 ls1 PCM tuned to run properly in my truck.....it cost me 25 bucks and the tuner had no problems tuning it.

The 98 PCM`s are not harder to tune, the skills that you need are the same to tune any of them. The difference is that 98`s have less features that you can tune and the computer is slower. If you are planning on doing a bolt on motor or heads and cam it doesn`t really matter what PCM you get, but if your planning on running turbos/supercharger and pushing the boost up you should look into a 99+ computer.

Wow, very nice feedback here... Thank you.
I am somewhat familiar with some of the LS1 motors, but not to the detail that you guys do. I also owned a 98 Formula that I feel was very quick. I loved the engine and trans in this car. Mine didn't have the dreaded piston slap either.
Merry Christmas!!!
