Default WTB: C5 engine stands
Any of you engine swappers have a set of the C5 engine mount brackets laying around the garage? They bolt to the side of the block and have a flat base on them.

Not exactly. They are the L-shaped looking brackets that bolt to the side of the block, and the engine mounts (on a Corvette the look like biscuits) bolt to these brackets. God I need to find a picture....

It is splitting hairs, but I believe the those are the rubber isolators. The mount is the metal bracket that is physically connected to the motor.

You might try the Ls2 mounts. Both the C6 and GTO mounts look to be similar to the C5 mounts. The C6 mounts are almost identical to the C5 mounts; the GTO mounts look different, but the base of the mount is still flat (parrallel to the bottom of the block) Here are some pictures:

I don't actually have a pair of the mounts though.

guess i got here too late. now what am i gonna do with these c5 mounts? oh well, into the random parts box. damn pack rat tendencies.

I am a pack rat too, that's why I still had these. I was just not able to find them, so I thought I tossed them. After a bit more looking, I found them.
