#1 is the vent for the fuel tank, so that as you use fuel air can get in and replace the volume. You could probably move the vent as long as you keep it in the top of the tank.

#2 I have no idea, I`ve never actually worked on a 4th gen camaro. Do you know what it used to connect too?

Oké guys
After some search I found out number 1 is evap and the other, number 2, is connected to a lose hose, which is pointing down.

Is the number 1 enhough for venting the tank? I could add a screw in overpressure valve from a boat tank somewhere.

Or can I better leave the evap out?

Please help...

Peter

One needs to go!

I think leaving the evap off is mostly up to you. How leagal do you need this car to be, (is the evap system mandatory in erope??) would anyone even notice? I think that the pcm will need to be told not to look for the evap system if you eliminate it. I'm trying to keep mine, but if it's not feasable (easy) I don't have a problem leaving it out.

If its a choice between one or the other, ditch the stock vent, it has to be easy to make a new one somewhere else that fits in your plans.
