Put some 15" draglites and any ol' sticky tire on it, and your ETs will absolutely plummet.

With that kinda MPH turning those heavy assed 20s, I'll predict 6.90s at about 100.

My buddy has a Lightning with 22s, and it's 8 tenths slower in the 1/8 mile with those versus the stock 18s.

I have to get a bigger tire on mine but it went 10.4@131 and it started hitting the rev limiter a couple hundred feet short of the finish line. That was with an MS3 cam, 3.55 gears, long tubes, 3800 stall, 125 shot and a TH400. On motor it went 11.2@125 1.8 60' with 7 degrees taken off the timing for the nitrous and 26" 275/40/17 drag radials. I am switching to 28" 275/60/15 drag radials to allow for more MPH and will be upping the shot some to get into the 9s. The car went 6.6@109 in the 1/8 with the 125 shot on a 1.5 60' which should go down to a 1.3 or so on the new tires and launching on the spray. Oh the car only dynoed at 320 on motor/430 on the spray at 2820 lbs. without driver so obviously the trans/converter combo is hiding some power on the dyno and I have some weight to shed. I still have some bugs to work out too and its only got a few passes on it but it will be fun when its all worked out!!!Actually its fun like it is

i took mine out to a local gtg,and i ran a friend that has a t/a that runs 7.2 @96. we ran fom 30 to 100,and i put 4 or 5 cars on him,after i stoped spinning(he has d/r's).we are both stalled auto's,he has 3.42,i hav 4.30 ,so mines a lot better fom a dig not this "from a roll" $hit

i'm going to the track sunday with slicks so i'll post my times when i get home

the track i'm going to sunday isn't known for having accurate times,it's more of a outtlaw "money race" typ of place.but it should give me a idea of what it will do till the real track opens january 19

Beau,

Awww, the getto track! Just don't shoot anyone there!!!

Talked to Lloyd today he said that thing is running like an ANIMAL. I'm sure you'll be in the 6's with some traction.

Is that cam only no heads? Is your FI or carbed. How is your ignition curve set up?

Its just a cam w/ fuel injection and a baseline tune nothing spectacular. I had a 125 shot on it when it ran the 10.4 pass but should be a 10.1 or so once I get the tire situation worked out. I also plan on increasing the shot to get into the 9s like I said and will post some pictures once the car gets back from paint.

the cam makes bad *** torque,it pulls just as hard at 3,000rp's as it does at 6,000rpm's and it pulls to 6,700rpm's

I agree with that...Just realize if your on 26" tall tires you will run out of gear if you make much more power. As for how it runs I dont know it must be a freak but im definitely happy with it!!!!

Bad ***.... That's about what it should do! Hopefully you will get some good weather down there to tell us how that setup runs.

I'm of the same opinion as vanilla89. I'm tired of seeing every fox mustang out there with cobra R wheels on it. The problem I've found is the fact almost nobody makes an equivalent sized wheel (18" x 9") with the correct offset that the car needs. The offsets are really goofy to make that wide of a wheel work. I've been digging in import magazines just to try and find someone that makes the right offset, but with mostly bad luck. The search continues . . .
