Default ls1 mustang track times

i only made 1 pass because my starter came off and we towed it home but i made 1 pass and it was on street tires,a 255/35/20 nitto 555zr,i hope to go back in a few weeks with some slicks,i think it will go 6.'s if i can stay init the hole time

not sure how i didn't see this sooner! not bad at all for 20" tires!!! post up when you hit the track again on slicks. good luck too.

have you? just wondering what the other lsx stangs are weighing in at. mine was weighed at 2 locations, track & truck stop with certified scale. both times came in at 2850 lbs. not bad, but i'll get some more out of it, but i'm not gutting it though.

i have weighed it,it's 3055 with me(i'm about 165lbs) and 1/2 tank of gas.it has all power and leather(driver's seat weighs about 65lbs).

it has alot left in it,i let out befor the line.if i stay in it the hole time and get a good 60ft like a 1.5 i know it will go 6.xx's

Mine is completely stripped right now...just a rolling chassis. I would really like to hit around 2,500-2,600 lbs., I just don't know how easy that is. I would like the interior to "appear" stock except for the seats, but besides that it is going to be on a serious diet.

Was the 2,850 including you?

That's awesome. It's amazing how well these combos work. Did you do anything for weight reduction?

no,it could be lighter.if you gutted it good i bet you could get it to 2600lbs

it kinda sux on the freeway,it's about 2700rps at 65mph,but im going to be putting in some 3.73's in a few weeks.the 4.30's were from when it had a 302 and a 5speed

mine weighs 2500#'s without me in it...my 60's or 1.5x's..I'm knocking on the door of high 6's. Good luck..

just the car on a 1/4 tank, no spare/jack, poly bucket seats, otherwise full interior, full power options, power steering and all that. still has heat, but no a/c.

i let out when it shifted into 3rd,so if you don't think it will go 6's ,then i'll but you $200 it does

This is what I'm shooting for. What did you have to do to get the weight down to 2,500 lbs.?

Why even bother taking a Mustang to the track on 20s?

Put some 15" draglites and any ol' sticky tire on it, and your ETs will absolutely plummet.
