What to do with cannister purge solenoid?
I have a 1999 Camaro LS-1 and will be removing all of the emission parts for my swap. Do I need to or should I remove the cannister purge solenoid as well? What to you do with the connections once you remove it?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I just found out Illinois won`t have emissions for 95 and older cars, but personally I still wouldn`t remove my purge sol. IMHO its just not worth it, it doesn`t hurt performance, and it keeps my car from smelling like gas. Now my air injection.....what air injection. Now that I don`t have to worry about smog I am thinking about long tube headders which means I probably won`t have room for cats....
EDIT:its not that you can`t delete it, you can tune it out in the computer and you won`t have any problems. I just like the idea of having it, heck it was too tall for my hood so I remote mounted it and made a hose to hook it back up.

i have to agree with g-body on this one. I'm not a fan of smelling gasoline when I'm driving. you may want to run stainless lines or something if the rubber hoses bother you aesthetically.
