350 in a 240 s14

350 in a 240 s14 i just pulled my motor out of my 240sx so i can put a 350 in it i have a carb 350 that i have been building for another purpose but now it going into the s14 i was wondering what all i had to do to make it fit please can some one help me out

In regards to the tranny mount in the following pic you can see waht I did but I'm the only one who was crazy enough to put in the the extra work of creating new mounts that I fab'd up and welded to the bottom of the car so I could use the stock 240SX's tranny crossmember:

If you already pulled the motor out of the 240 why not drop the 350 in and find out for yourself. Sometimes it's fun to be the first one to do it and document it for others.

Best bet is to figure it all out for yourself, because in many instances people don't do it the best or easiest way. The worst thing you can do is to feel like you have to do it one certain way because that's rarely the case.

More than likely you will have problems with the distributor, unless you use a very small cap. An HEI will probably be too big. The carb will most likely not fit under the hood.
