Ok guys! The camera Phil has been using to take pictures of his build progress is a Canon PowerShot SD800 IS. If you look around the internet you'll find that it DOES in fact have a movie clip mode and from what it says they are QUITE good movie clips at that! It'll at least take clips good enough to take away the shakes I've been experiencing lately after being held in suspense for so long. So Phil, when you have some free time (if there is such a thing now that you're a dad), for the love of God get the manual out for that camera, figure out how to get it into movie clip mode, and shoot us an idle clip!

Got a few more small things done last night, the wiring is almost finished. I picked up a charger for the camcorder this morning so we'll have a video tomorrow.

Did you notice if the camera had sound or just video?

 

It says it plays movies with sound, BUT now that you have a charger we're in good shape. You're the man.
