Man tonight was a great learning experience. Shawn from Virginia speed made the 2+ hour drive to help out and man was it worth it. I had Brian, shawn and my wife Jessica helping between rounds, we had a 40 minute turn around time and we used every minute. Got to MIR early and coaxed Jason into letting us make a single pass since we really did not have a clean pass to date. Couple of 1/8 mile and thats it. Well we made the first hit and the car went up in smoke, spun on the launch and down track, almost put it into the wall.

We regrouped came back, topped off the fluids, called the Madman and got some suspension advice. We tweaked the suspension exactly how Madman said, Shawn put a soft tune up in the BS3 and we came up with a crazy boost curve to see if we could get the car down the track. Well it worked!
1.30x 60' without any power in the car.

Tuneup was soo soft it wasn't funny, the car was on the rev-limiter 80-900' out. Went a .20 @ 17x.

2nd round, we tightend up the tuneup alittle and added some boost, car left clean to another 1.3 60', but the driver had a brain fart and forgot to go WOT for the last 1/8 mile and ran an 8.1x @ 171 with 60% TPS over the last 1/8 mile.

3rd run we shook the tires and had some fuel issues. Called it quits.

I can't thank My wife Jessica for helping all night, Shawn was flawless on the tuneup and setup advice, As always brian is there when you need him....

Videos coming...

We had fuel problems on the last pass, car died. We know what and how to fix the problem just need some material and alittle time. The 8.2 pass it was soo fat @ 8k it would not rev any more. We took 5% of fuel out and it still was 10.5:1.

Great job guys. Also noticed the car bucking on the transbrake, my car would do the same thing till I got the pump pressure up in the trans. Either way I am still impressed with the car.

i know if the band is not adjusted right it can roll in/out.

Yea, they will roll if the band isnt tight enough. When they buck on the brake it usually means the front pump isnt making enough pressure.

Do you think its that or just the fact that we're preloading the suspension that much. The suspension raises up about 2".

I think you are right Phil, intially I looked at the car and thought it was bucking, but after watching it again several times I think that when you go on the brake the front end rises and then settles back in again. I just think thats its a soft front suspension and alot of power loading the car. What mufflers are on that thing again, it sounds really good, and reasonibly quiet. I like it.
