are the throttle bodies the same bolt pattern? is there any difference between the two. im swapping a 5.3 into a jeep and dont have the hood clearance to keep the truck intake, as much as i would like to...
i know about the idler pulley and water pump inlet. whats the word on the fuel fitting interfering with the coil pack? is there an easy way around it or do you have to swap to a f-body pack?
TIA

What kind of 5.3? Gen III or IV SBC?
I mean you can't swap the LS1 for an LS2 Intake. Injectorholes and TB are different.
I thought it's the same problem with the new Truck Engines ?!
I intend do swap a (LC9) 5.3 GEN IV into my F-Body. And i need to keep the original injectors.

GEN IV or GEN III SBC 5.3?
From Wikipedia
"The LS4 is a smaller 5.3 L (325 in³) version of the Generation IV block. Though it has the same displacement as the Vortec 5300 LH6, it differs in that it has an aluminum block rather than an iron one and it uses the same cylinder head as the Generation III LS6 engine.
A version of this engine is adapted for transverse front-wheel drive application. In order to fit into the smaller engine compartments designed for V-6s, in the front-wheel drive Pontiac Grand Prix GXP, for instance, the LS4 engine block had to be shortened by one inch. Displacement on Demand is also used. Output of this version is 303 hp (226 kW) and 323 ft·lbf (438 N·m).
Applications:
2006-2007 Chevrolet Impala/Monte Carlo SS
2006-2007 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP"
