That sounds badass! Here's a link to more info from last weekend..

https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversions-swaps/652285-drove-ls1-coupe-today-pics.html

Since then, I have had full 3" mandrel bent exhaust with 3" bullet mufflers dumped at an angle under the rear end. Sounds wicked man, wish I wasn't on dial-up (I live in BFE) I would post some video's.

But, I found out that 1st gear is not engaging and they are sending me another valve body, so I am hoping to get some baseline runs next friday.

Thanks man, put it this way, I hazed the rear's at 50mph (3rd gear) which produced a light haze inside the vehicle, but only stayed in it for a few seconds.

I am using lakewood 90/10 drag struts with granetelli coil overs (drag version). Good luck bro!

Here's a list of all that was done...

No interior, a/c or heater. Just 2 plastic seats, stock dash, 2 harness's and 8 point cage. Front end is 100% tubular including control arms with coilovers. Manual steering rack. Tubular rear upper and lower c/a's. Fully welded sub-frame connectors, fuly welded reinforcement plates. Fiberglass hood and decklid. No fender liners, no bumper supports. Weld drag light wheels with skinnies and qt tires. 10 gallon fuel cell. I'm sure there is more, but thats what comes to mind.

Holy lord.

I love the LS1 coupe, first off, not to get off subject...

But Tirefryin_RX7, can you PM me about your car in that sig? Freaking awesome looking. And those earlier RX7s are CHEAP around here! I've just never liked the looks until I saw yours.

i can't wait to hear your results! lol. if you get a new weight on it now that it's complete, let us know.

oh yea, and let me be the first to guess you're gonna need a few more bars in that thing when the giggly gas is injected!
