i have a 95 nissan 240sx with a stock ls1. only mods is LTs and exhaust (clutch is even stock). i have only made 3 passes (still learning, never done it before) and the fastest pass on a 1/8 mile track was 8.08. i think it might hit low 7's on a perfect run. but with a 8sec 1/8 is about low 12's i think. i dont think she is turtle slow thou. i could only find one ticket from my runs but one 8.1 sec pass i had a reaction of .75** so im sure i will see some 7's soon.

fouz65, the first time i took my z out it went 8.11s so don't feel bad. but that was due to the tranny, put a manual valve body and it went 7.60s welded the rearend gears together and it went 7.40s, so just smash the gas to the floor and row them gears.

i tried the smash the gas on the line once and i went for a 9 sec pass on my second run. 17X9 with street tires went no where. i did nothing but sit there. so i shifted to 2nd and still went no where. so i just let off the gas and then hit if again to finsh the run. if i remeber right on that run my 60ft was 2.7. on the 8.0 pass i just took off as if i was at a red light and then went all out. just rolling off the line. i just have to find the best way to launch with those street tires. its not a drag car. just a daily driver. but for $10 to go to the strip its something fun to do. no cops. no worries.
