And please keep the tubbing to a minimum! Every J-body conversion I have ever seen puts huge tires out back and kills whatever sleeper effect it might have (The one in your sig for instance). 275's should be more than sufficient to get it down the track with ease.

yeah that one really gives it away.. actually my biggest concern right now is what type of wheels to put on... since the bolt pattern wont match the factory wheels and I need to decide so that I can make the right spacing

If it were me, I'd adapt some camaro SS 10 spokes, if you can find spacers to mount them to the front rotors. They'd look nearly stock to the car.

just wanted to share better pics of the engine I think I'm going to use the edlebrock intake with the elbow because of the tight clearance with the t-body section

Looking good Rick! Curious to are how your going to tie the rear together. I think I'll be given up the big time fabrication just for some upper links and just finishing cutting the bottom out of the Beretta. I have a C5 convertible that was in a fire that lower the Beretta chasis onto. It might be a little heavier than adding a bunch of rear end support. But will be a whole lot more ridged.

Keep is updated.

Thumbs up Finally.......

Someone is going to make a cavalier worth something other than basic transportation. Good luck on the project, and be sure to post pics as you go.

How close is the rack& pinion have? Maybe you can you can get a custom radiator made alittle bit shorted and angle it alittle so you can still use the intake. just an idea. custom rad can't be to much. I had mine made for the beretta for $150 so i could get my two front mounts to work and to het the headers to clear.
Other than that it is looking great can't wait to see that beast go down the road. Some rich man going to be pissed when you show him your taillight to his corvettes.
