How much is your truck lowered? I have a 96 s10 about to do a 5.3 swap and was going to go with an unmodified pan like yours. My truck is lowered 3" and 1.5" in the back and worried about the pan dragging. Did you have any problems with your pan hanging down? Do you have any pics of the K-Member after you cut it?

Nice truck. Came out looking very smooth under the hood but the ls1 always does in the s10s. You know what's great in an s10 is to finally have that extra gear and 80mph at less than 2000rpm. I never get over it. oh so sleeper

The 4.3 liter V6 was the biggest engine ever offered in an S-10, though I will agree a 5.3 V8 should have been optional in the Xtreme S-10's but GM wouldn't want to do that in fear it would steal the sales away from the over rated Corvette.
I gotta say that is a very nice looking truck.
I would guess you had to move the shifter hole back towards the seats? Would the shifter clear on a bench seat truck?
Did you use the original slave cylinder from the truck to operate the hydraulic clutch? If not how did you do it?
What exaust manifolds/headers did you use?
How do you make the speedo work? Will the VSS for the truck work with the manual tranny used on the LS1 engines?
You say you bought your motor mounts thru JTR....which I am assuming those are the top halves right? If so were they made to adapt to the 2.8 liter mounts like the GEN I engine swap mounts are?
Did you have to notch the cross member for oil pan clearance? Or did you just modify the oil pan?
For suspension did you stick with the 2.5 liter coils or the 2.8 liter?

It has an intake duration at .050" lift degrees 226 intake, and 236 exhaust, maximum lift .525" intake, or exhaust. 110 degrees lobe centerline. Camshaft requires valve spring P/N 12586484; "ASA" cam for off-highway use.
You're probably looking at something around 35-40 HP over a stock cam at peak. Stock heads will choke it somewhat.
With good heads, this cam and a tune, you'll be knocking on the door of about 500HP peak. It's lopey.
Z-Scrilla on the Camaro Z28 board used this cam and made about 370 with stock heads without a good tune.
You'll need to run it up to 7K for max power.
Not really a "street" cam for most people.
