For the moroso pan, what pickup and windage tray do you use? I am assuming the f-body or do you have to also use moroso 24050?

From what I see...I dont see any reason it wont fit the S10 chasis. On mine...under the starter is room...But I dont know how much room is there. If there was measurements of the pan I would measure. But if there is enough...man that thing would be an awesome S1o pan. But only thing I dont like...is I dont see ANY baffling inside the pan...So I am guessing this pan might have some issues on hard cornering and hard racing type situation. Would be interested to see more info.

Anybody think this will make the 4x4 s10 swap easier? Last time I researched it, it looked the oil pan was one of the biggest headaches folks were finding, and a major roadblock.

I'm not trying to bash the GMCOPO pan, just an LS1 into a 4x4 S10 is really tight, and I don't know that a universal fit type pan will fit particularly well. For instance, the front driveshaft almost occupies the area the oil filter is in (not quite but its darn close). To avoid that problem, my pan (and TurboTime's) runs a set of -8AN SS lines to a remote mount oil filter. My hoses come down vertically from the oil ports in the block / flange, and wrap around the pinion section of the front diff, and make their way to the oil filter mounted on the framerail (in between the frame and the left torsion bar).
TurboTime didn't have them available when I put my truck together last summer, so I personally can't guarantee that it'll fit, but since they're making LS1 / 4x4 S10 mounts and an oilpan for the same application, I'd bet it fits. They've been testing it out on a couple of Typhoons (first gen trucks). The engine mounts worked fine in my '99 Bravada (a second gen) and I'd expect the oilpan to be about the same deal.
Looking at the picture of the GMCOPO pan, I don't think it'll clear the front diff much better than anything else. That front diff takes up a lot of real estate.
