The exterior slot pattern does not matter. If the rotors are directional the inside vanes will curve in a particular direction. If the vanes are straight, then it does not matter.

Looking good but i think you will have to do something with that trunk pan. I got the bad news on my floor pans yesterday. After sand blasting they look like someone took a shootgun to them. Maybe buy the end of summer my fream will look almost as good as yours does.

on pics above, tanks inc setup into a new tank with a nice access hole.new side exit compressor with a vintage air bracket temporarily holding it in place until i make new brackets that will also hold the 2 new March idler pulleys.it looks like it will work without modifying the chassis and stay low on the pass. side.JOHN

If you do use the BRP mounts that allows the stock ac location keep in mind that makes it impossible to use Edelbrock Headers. I would guess the same for the Hooker long tubes since the edelbrock and Hooker motor mounts are almost exactly the same.

I am using a BRP style and then I moved the perches on the frame itself so I could use the edelbrock long tubes and my original drive shaft behind the TKO500 Tremec.

Hey John,

What's the story with the AC compressor? I like the approach you're taking with it. More details please.

Andrew
