Default Some updated progress 62'

Here are some updated pics of my progress on my 62' impala.
All opinions are welcomed.

I am going to use the vetter covers to mold a custom set of covers, with impala imprinted. I still have to finish up a little wiring but the motor and trans are done, they won't be coming back out. The brakes are done. The booster sits really close but it clears, so I am content.

This is the tank I decided to use. It's an aluminum RCi unit. I just cut a hole for the tanks inc in-tank sump unit, capped off the other outlets, and vented it.

A local driveshaft comapny hooked me up on the driveshaft work. They shortened the front, new yoke and u-joints, the added a slip yoke in the rear shaft. It turned out great and for a good price.

Sorry for the blurry pic, but the stance is awesome.
The rims should be here tomorrow. 20x8.5 245/30/20 front and 22x9.5 295/24/22 rear!

Hopefully I can get the radiator in and worked up today. I still need to do something with the P/S hoses and few other odds and ends, then it's time to fire it up.

Beautiful car. I love the stance and wheel/tire setup. Very sweet ride. And a quick build to do all that in a year.

Looks great. You can't really tell how big the vacuum booster is but if it's the large one you can pick up a mini to replace it. I like the filler panel in front of the rad. The interior is outstanding as is the paint. The sound system is over-the-top. Nice job.

I believe the booster is an 8". I know there is a 7" but I may end up going hydra-boost.

Again thanks for the nice comments.

If I knew a way, I would do it. Many of the pics are in photobucket.

Default Looking for any help possible on LS conversion for my 62 Impala

I'm new to this type of forum and I am looking for any help possible to convert my 62 Impala to an LS1. I love what you have done to your Impala and would like any information you have to help me out with the conversion. I have not done anything other than researched different sites for information. Thanks for your time.
