As I said, I hope he proves me wrong. But I gotta be honest when I say I won't be surprised if this thread just dies like it never started.

As for the factory gauges, I'm not sure how, but find a way to use them. The S2K gauges are the coolest gauges I've ever seen. I've actually investigated swapping them into my Fiero.

 

I have no idea how to do it, but the first thing I said when my friend popped the hood of his s2000 was that it needed an ls1. I hope you get it done. The car would be awesome.

a racepak dash cluster in place of the S2000 cluster may be the way to go as the S2000 cluster can be sold for good $$$ and the racepak is similar in size and layout and will work well with the swap.

 

I wanna se it done! Anyone have idea of the weight difference?

I took a look under the hood of an S2K last week.
Like 2 others have mentioned, not much room towards the rear of the engine bay.
Have you guys started cutting?

Because you need one of those to have an LS1 S2000.
