I guess the little junker Cressida hasn't read this thread about LS superiority.

The little junker would be even faster with a LS.
2Jz engines are lame.

the Nissan GTR VR38 engine has totally surpassed the performance capabilities of the 2JZ in recent years. There's even aftermarket billet blocks for these motors!

You realize there's been billet 2jz for a few years now right? Hilarious someone would call an engine "lame" as if it were some sort of sensical statement lol.

Afaik theres only one billet 2JZ block out there and it doesn't have a water jacket. Drag race only application

Not sure how many were produced but they do exist, I've seen the pictures. Last I saw the billet GT-R block was also having issues with claims of someone using plans to produce unauthorized blocks etc. and that development was being taken elsewhere? Don't know where that ended up but there's a few race cars with billet pieces I believe. (shrug)

The Nissan motor is a bit out of my price range, but 2jz's are still fairly easy to find. After the rods bent on the LQ4, I'm a bit hesitant to do any modding to my LS3. Definitely interested in swapping the 2jz into it instead.

This thread is from 2007, I doubt anyone has thought about it lol, Still amazes me when people dig up the dead and don't even notice the dates.

Saw the date before I posted. Still thought the video was funny, especially since I've had some LS experience now.

I'd stick to the V8. Head flow on the 2jz isn't great and cubes really do work well with boost! Straight 6 are pretty smooth, I think GMC made a pretty nice one that might be worth looking into if you want different. Lots of LSx motors around, I think if I already had one I'd stick to it for sure.

The 6 cylinder Fords from Australia look interesting, but availability leaves a bit to be desired.
