you guys have big ideas, most are quite sweet and definatly are going to be unique rides. i am but a man of simple means. if i ever learned how to weld, this would be my first swap. i have the motor, now i just need everything else. as well as the info needed to complete the swap.

motorcycle engine --> go kart ----> bat out of hell.

F430 drivetrain in a Corvair and a Ferarri 599 engine in a 69 Camaro Another would be making a Cobalt SS RWD and throw in a straight 6 out of a Trailblazer thats been boosted to hell and let the Supra boys feel the wrath.
Last one lol 3.8 buick motor swapped into a 240sx.

Last thing I built in college: carbon fiber monocoque with blown+EFI+alky 600cc. Weighed about 500lbs wet. 1000cc would have been a lot more fun!

Well, I had been thinking of a few swaps for a while now.

Probably the #1 non-LSx swap would be a supercharged, DOHC 4.6 Modular and TKO 5-speed in a 65-68 Mustang

Then I was, at one time, thinking putting a 2.3L Ford Turbo in an MGB or a subaru Flat 4 in a Porsche 914.

Right now, though, I'd go for an LSx in a C4 Corvette.

Once Uncle Sam tells me I can go back to America, I may be able to buy one of these cars.

Maybe a 1963 Lincoln Continental convertible. The one with the suicide doors, same model JFK was assinated in.

Color scheme would have to be white on white leather with a white top.

Motor would be a modern fuel injected, ford supercharged 5.4 V8. Basically the motor out of a Ford Lightinging, with the same overdrive automatic tranny. This heavy beast would run 11's and be perfectly streetable as well.

59 caddy convert in pink, blue, stin black, or prolly any other color like so:

plus

with arizona speed and marine fuel injection and 2 turbos. WOuld have to have leopard or other animal print interior, and have to be LOW. Definately Tub the back for some tire, and make it a true rocketship.

Or possibly a:

with a:

The rule keeps me from talking about my ttls1 astro awd project idea.... shucks

I would have to go with a 3800 series II supercharged engine with some work to get it up in the 350hp range in a Fiero GT. Probably a smaller pulley, some different rockers, and maybe some heads, along with a custom exhaust would get me close.

Then, I'd just have to find a way to get it to hook up in first or second gear.

Staying with "the rule":
1) My '83 s10 blazer with a ZZ572
2) Same vehicle with a Duramax and Allison trans.
3) Swap 1 but mid-mounted (true fantasy swap, lots of money and fabrication)
4) Swap 2 but mid-mounted (I don't think the allison would be possible in this case)
Breaking "the rule":
1) An engine as close to the LS7.R that I could get built by Katech in my blazer
2) same engine, same builder, same blazer . . . mid-mounted.

Can you tell that I love my blazer?! I have other fantasy swaps, but my blazer is the only important one to me.

I've heard you can use a porsche 5 speed transaxle in them, supposedly pretty strong.
