That bunch at the Corral are a joke!
If you build anything faster than the beloved Cleveland, you must be cheating or a liar. They refuse to believe that a pump gas 364 cu motor with factory parts, 10/1 and pump gas can run 9's.
The hero's over there with the canted valve Clevor at 400+ cubes, 12/1, solid roller and 8500 RPM shift point has managed 10teens at 134.
Their reality would be shattered if a guy went faster with a smaller, cam only junkyard motor.
I refuse to argue with them.

IN PROGRESS, and the plans have been skewed a few times from a stockish LQ4, to an all motor 414cid stroker, to adding a 200wetkit to the same, and now I have decided to sell off my big compression pistons and new Ceramic Dynatech swap headers for an 88mm turbo. LONG READ, but lots of progress/info/pics.
ALSO, it's a bit of a break from the norm (if there IS one, lol), it's NOT a drag or S/S car, -it's a road race inspired/wicked street car.

The car has full MM suspension (panhard bar/torque arm, k-member, coil-over shocks/struts, ect...) and big brakes. Mostly a street car that is setup to handle and stop. LS2 with an FTI cam and a M12 six speed.
