Ive read several threads but none with a LS2.
We have a first gen camaro with a LS2 and cant manage to get a stewart warner speedo gauge to work at all.I am getting the signal from the PCM and have boosted the signal with a 4.7k resistor hopped over to 12v (this made my tach work) The gauge powers up fine and it goes through the calibration routine like it supposed to after i drive one mile and press the button again NOTHING it sits @ 0mph. I have tried to raise and lower the ppm in EFI live with no avail

I don't know anything about SW gauges but it's possible they won't operate off of the square wave that comes from the PCM. You could try tapping directly into the trans VSS wires (sine wave) and see if that brings it to life.

Hope its not an auto, taking the signal from the VSS won't work then. Speedo will work, but the car won't shift. At least thats been my experiance. Been 9 months, still dont have a speedo that works.

Is it even counting pulses when you are in calibration mode? You should be able to see it counting in the little odometer area. I hold my button, then turn the ignition on and continue holding the button. It should say "cal" on the screen. Go ahead then and release the button. Hit it again and then drive your mile or for now, just see if it even counts pulses. I think SW's instructions aren't correct when it comes to entering the calibration mode.
Are your grounds solid? FWIW, I finally got mine to work off the PCM by installing a 1K ohm reistor inline with the PCM feed into the speedo signal wire.
