Default My 66 chevy c-10 with a 05 5.3

This is my 66 c-10 with the L33 all aluminum 5.3 310hp 335 fptq stock with a 4L60E. The project took 3+ years and has already won some trophys this year. For the swap I used a early classic GEN III engine mount kit to get it mounted. I had to have the stock harness modified since at the time GM had not released the plugs to build a stand alone and had the PCM tuned to remove the anti theft and all of the emmisions stuff. For the cooling system I used a camaro LS1 radiator and dual electric fans setup. For now it has a homemade redneck style cold air intake(my wife and I are expecting so the cold air intake is on hold for awhile) and dual flowmasters with turndowns. For fuel I had a guy I know fab a tank that allowed me to use the stock 05 GM fuel pump for the 5.3 and get the tank out from behind the seat and in the framerails at the same time. Ignore the engine cover in the pics I have painted it but havent had time to take any new shots of it Enjoy the pics and let me know what you think.

Great looking truck and clean swap. I'm not a huge fan of stepside trucks, but I like yours alot. I bet it runs a little better than with the old engine

Nice job
