I use modified stock harnesses in every build. I've seen some of the $500 modified stock harnesses that people sell and they should be shot! Painless is a nice harness and I have used them before in muscle car builds for the main harness cause it is easier than making one from scratch. But if you have a stock engine harness for an LS motor it is gravy. Easy to mod. G

Speartech,s harness is well worth the money.Besides looking good and easy to hook up,
John is a super guy and his tech support on almost anything to do with your conversion
is well worth it.

If you are on a budget have someone here/or off ebay modify a harness for a coulple hundred bucks or less.If you want a new harness, made to length with your choice of sensors etc. I recommend LS1engineharness.com.They build new harnesses to your specs for 1/2 of the cost of painfulls harness. You will need to tune or have someone tune a stock ECM.If money is of no concern then Speartech.
