I don't now what i would have done if someone rear ended my project car.
to go from a pristine show car to a wrinkled tin can...
I hope insurance pays for every last cent to get it back to the way you had it.

Man what an insanely beautiful car!
Man did that last pic just ruined my day. My car is so close to completion, and I shudder at that happening to me. I guess I better leave the gun at home when driving the new whip. Cause I would just freak out if that happened.
Their insurance company would be getting raped!

I'm sorry Steve. That hurts just to look at it, and I don't have any sweat, blood, or tears invested.
Hope it gets put backtogether better than before (although I'm not sure how you'd go about doing that). Don't forget to sue for emotional distress.

Probably one of the sickest pro-touring camaros alive today.
At least Steve is OK and the guy had insurance. Accidents do happen, I can only imagine what I would do if one of my employees hit a car like that.
What a shame.

She will be fixed -- no frame damage, "just" sheetmetal damage. about $15k to fix.
Notice how the license plate is still perfect.. that's a sign. lol

In an appraisal battle I would win, the car would most likely appraise for close to $100k... Even if it came in 25% short it would still be $75k.

Step one is a win!
Next up is the battle with the insurance adjuster... Wish me luck.

On a seperate and more important topic, how you feelin (besides the emotional distress)? You said you were suffering from a headache and shoulder stiffness. Feeling any better?

Adjuster looked at the car today.. should hear back tomorrow on what they will offer vs the estimate from the shop.
Fingers crossed that State Farm will step up and do the right thing.
and I just started writing a story on insuring your classic/modified musclecar so you don't get screwed. Take a guess on what lead image I'm gonna use?
