Like I said, Rough calculation. Keep in mind that's just Static Compression ratio; throw a big cam in there and that will soak some of it up.
different cranks and set of rods
conventional 3.622 stroke found on 5.7/6.0 also used in 5.3
different balance.
rods for the 5.3 are same as 5.7/6.0 6.098 length
4.8 uses 3.268 stroke crank along with 6.276 length rods
piston diameter for both the 5.3 and 4.8 are 3.876
with compression height of 1.338 +/- .001
ls series deck are 9.240 for all stock blocks
pistons used in 5.3 have a slight spherical dish at about 5cc's
4.8/5.3 blocks have been know to be overbored up to .125
to displace 346-347ci with 3.622 stroke crank
basically a iron 5.7 ls1
i have the machined 3 blocks for this application.
