Default mustang chassis wiring help

I am trying to figure out what color wires go to what on the chassis harness, anyone know where i can get this info?

I am in the process of a motor swap and i dont need any gauges, all i need to work from the chassis harness is the interior (lights, stereo, windows, ect...) and on the out side my lights and signals. everything else i want gone to keep the engine bay clear. Any help would be great, thanks.

BTW its a 94 mustang gt, thanks

I don't know about the 94's, but 93 and earlier are 2 totally separate harnesses. So you can delete anything engine related and not even touch the lights, turns signals etc. Since the 94 was a 5.0 also I would assume that is the same in your situation,

go to autozone or orielys and get a service manual for your car. i have a 98 cobra that i just rewired and wired up a 6.0 into. they have every schematic(spell???) for your car in it. helped me a bunch.

I would highly recommend buying an electrical and vacuum troubleshooting manual from helminc.com for the year Mustang you have.

I did the same thing you're doing and I would have never been able to do it without that book. I removed 7-8 pounds of wires and other crap. I'll also add that it's a royal pain in the *** and having done it once, I don't think I would do it again.

On my 89 I just traced the wires back from the source. If it had a plug I unplugged it and tied it up. I didn't want to cut anything out just in case. I moved all my wireing to the inner fender wells so it could not be seen. That way there wasn't a bunch of pigtails hanging out in the engine bay.
