The factory gauges that work are the Oil pressure, amps, and speedo, tach works but is off....

i replaced the LT1 fuel system with the LS1 system...the whole thing, lines, tank, etc.

I did the wiring myself...just gotta hook up my carbon fiber gauges now....

Thanks for the complements! and i just put on a Xenon body kit too..so it looks even better now! lol!

Holy crap...there is NO comparison between the two engines...the LS1 feels so much...looser than the LT1...in a good way...as in it breathes harder, just overall feels way faster... i have to be careful when i leave a corner otherwise i send it sideways...at half throttle! lol!

Yeah. It's great. I Love it!

Nice job.. alot of work went into that. It's tight in there too..what did you base the Wiring off of to do your Harness?
Do you plan to take the EGR stuff off of it?
The Tach can be fixed, that is not that hard to do. I got a guy that Tunes with EFI Live, he did it with that program.

i based the wiring off the stuff from shbox.com for the 95 wiring and then this forum for the 99 wiring...

Just gotta get my fuel level to read what it's supposed to...

Well the LT1 Fuel System is pretty much an independent system, just like the Cruise Control. All you got to do is get the Relay Wire and the Ground Wire to the right spots, and it's good.
I know you said you switched to the LS1 Fuel System, and that one I believe has the Fuel Level as a Signal Wire from the Sender to the Computer. From there is sends a Signal to the Guage Cluster. How is it reading?

Sounds like the Gauge is spiking cause it's grounding out. Does it even move, or is it like this constantly?

constantly...i thought it would be because it might be getting TOO much power...but i dunno...i'm gonna hook my autometer up sometime and see what it reads.... if nothing else maybe i can devise a signal converter....

K.. it's doing what I was thinking earlier. The LT1 Fuel Gauge works like all the old cars, there is a Hot, Ground, and Signal Wire. The '99 up LS1 has a Wire that comes from the Sender and goes to the Harness, to the Computer, and then out to the Gauge Cluster at the Fuel Level Wire.
If you un-plug or cut out the LT1 Wires, it is probably not getting any signal, and saying it's full all the time.
