Maiden voyage, tranny wont shift. I took the Camaro on its maiden Voyage today. I have a 4L60E trans in the car. I installed a TCI shift kit and TCI super street fighter convertor. The car will go into reverse and forward fine, but it doesnt want to come out of first gear. I had one shift out of it and that was it.
I have an Autometer Speedo in the car. I have it just spliced into the VSS raw signal going from the tranny to the PCM. I DID NOT cut the wire, send it to the guage, and then send it from the guage to the PCM. Do you think this could be the problem? I am going to try it tomarrow to see if it helps or not.
Any one have any ideas?

Re: Maiden voyage, tranny wont shift. I still used the raw vss signal, just ran it copletely to the guage first and then to the pcm from the output of the speedo.
