How did you end up running the exhaust? Stock C5 type or did ya run a custom setup to keep it a tad more stealth?

****'em, I'm building a 57 Chevy with LS2 viper specked t56 and twin turbos as well as another 32 ford roadster with a C5 suspension this time, trans axle and a built ls1 Chromoly tube chassis, and carbon fiber body under 1500lb. but this is more bad *** then anything

The Honda has my vote for the swap of the year. Its so wrong it's bad ***. dude if you have any questions about C5 parts narrowing or need to borrow my C5 set up jig just PM me, I want to see this thing out rice hunting then smoking the dumb red necks in their stock F bodies.

Any one else

I know this is old and a little off topic now but I felt like posting it...

If you took the head off of it the gasket would look like this. The cylinders on a W engine are staggered to save space.

This is a spacer for a volkswagen V6 which is not technically a V6 its more like an offset inline6. I always wondered why the coilpacks were crooked on these engines and I got the answer the first time I saw the gasket. The bugatti coilpacks are the same way.

Congrats on your celeb-hood Civette! It's cool that you're getting some press on this swap. You have a fan following man! Alright so it is up and running, but how much longer until it is complete? If it's already going then you must have been doing some serious work over the past couple weeks. Anyways we're all patiently...or anxiously awaiting the final product!!

From the looks of his driveway, im pretty sure if he was worried about you beating him he'd just go out and buy something faster than anything you could ever own. I guess I suck too for putting an LS6 in my FD MAZDA huh?

insane swap man, crazy.
step 1. remove body from vette.
step 2. cut mechanicals out from under a civic hatchback.
step 3. place civic body onto vette chassis.
step 4. drive around town and KICK SOME SERIOUS BUTT!

hey, I never knew the wheel base of a civic hatch and a vette were so similar!
good luck on getting it all finished up and looking somewhat stock'ish and normal.

This is a fascinating build up. One of the most interesting things I've seen on LS1tech in a long time. It's just too cool.

A+
