Just to let you know its not street legal. The law states that if you replace the motor in a car, the motor must be offered for that car. That means the only legal motor swaps for your car would be a D-series motor,B-series honda motor, and I think a K-series motor. It should not even pass state inspection but I'm sure there are ways around that. If you register your car as a corvette that would be a different story. Then the car is legal.

If there is no smog or safety or other reason to inspect the car an it is registered by the state then it is legal to drive. it's legal. Happy driving!

I think he's saying it's legal UNTIL you get pulled over by that one ***** *** cop who just got his request to retire rejected.

but even then, the cop is not going to have him open his hood or something. Cop might try to ticket him for a noise oridance (not likely) or something like that. I mean he still has all his mirrors, wipers, seatbelts, etc and the tires just stick out a bit but then again how many cars do we see running around with spacers just to get that look. The worst that can happen is that he gets the speeding ticket he probably deserves.

Again there is no inspection and no governing body so, if there are no safety requirements in the County he could put that motor in a 1800's covered wagon and still be ok.

Which brings me to my next point civette, how about a covered wagon for the next build?
