I define rice as fake function. Vinyl carbon fiber, side skirts with vents leading to nothing, fake hood vents, etc. etc.
Like I said, I think with smooth side skirts and even just lower the car would look boss. The rolled fenders + fender gap looks odd to me. That could just be because i'm used to having 5mm between the top/side of my tire to my fender.
P.S. that is not a shop-funded car. It is a private owner.

BTW- I cant wait to see the RBZ after you guys have to put like a 4 inch cowl hood on it for clearance......but at least you could say its functional right!?!?!?!?

almost stock hood fits, we had to beat it up like 1.5-2" with a hammer, then had our body guy smooth it and make it look stock with how well it was blended, no scoop. The car has fairly well-planned ducting up front and through the engine bay.

I live in the development off of upper beckleysville road right before A-town headed to prettyboy. You should hit me up sometime. Sounds like he lives by Jeff, guy that lived at the intersection there had a 300z for a while. Small world huh.

300ZX's are great!
My brother owns a '91 TT that has 61k on the clock and has never seen rain.
My buddy's broke 200mph with 770rwhp and it's current build is going for over 1000rwhp.

I don't want to clutter up the thread, but here's a link from start to finish.
EDIT: crap, all the pics are down, i'll find one after work!
P.S. lowdedz, I loved that the motor is like way back in there

This is all I could find, I know there are a ton more, but we recently changed our servers so I'll have to find them.
The car is running a triple plate carbon clutch, carbon differential, tein coilovers, hicas eliminator, blah blah. We'll have dyno numbers this weekend as it was just finished.

Here is a brief update on the car.
It has been running strong since the swap with no major problems. I have had to put on a starter and change the thermostat and thats about it. I dont drive the car very much except on the weekends. I haven't done anything else to the motor like I originally planned. I recently bought a S14 240SX and put a turbo motor in it, and have been putting a lot more attention in it instead of the Z. I did however, change up the stance of the Z a little. I finally sold the old 19'' Gold Racing Hart wheels off the Z and bought some new 18'' Black Ti'5 wheels with the Neo Chrome lip. I also got some coilovers and dropped the car 3.5" in the front and 3" in the rear. It sits way better now and looks more agressive. here are some pics.............
