looks like a clean swap. personally the body kit makes the car look to ricer for me. i think a ls swaped stock body'd car would look much better but thats just my opinion. looks like it would be fun to drive though! enjoy

The car looks a lot cleaner now. Do you have any daytime pics so we can see the paint? The only thing I'm not really a fan of are the smoked tails; I think z's have too nice of taillights to cover up. It's a shame that all the lsx z's ive seen had to modify the firewall, I think there might be more swaps if there was less fabrication involved.

Because I wanted something different. I mean dont get me wrong, the Z is fun to drive and all, but there is just something about a turbo car. I actually enjoy driving the 240 more than Z.

I amgoing to get some daytime pics posted up sooner or later. It just seems that the only time we have to take pics, is on the weekends at night. I am going to wetsand the whole car down in a couple of weeks and buff it for the first time since the new paint job. Should look a lot better

Im not exactly sure what the process is in making the finish on the lips. Its is the same "burnt" effect like you see on the Greddy and HKS Ti mufflers. The wheels are actually manufactured by Seibon and they are supposed to debut at the SEMA show this year so you should be seeing more wheels like these in the future.

Deff not what I would choose for my own car but I think it looks good overall. Honestly the only thing I cant stand is that peice between the headlights.

Other than that I know if it passed me I'de deff wanna race it just to see what it was all about. It deff looks tough

Car has some potential once the "rice boy" parts are ditched/fixed.

Well, I guess theres always gonna be one cocky a**hole who has to degrade everyone elses projects. First off, I will say that the RB26 Z is beautiful and the swap looks clean, and I am sure it has way more money in it considering it appears to be a "Shop Built Car" . 2nd, Im not sure what you are talking about as far as "rice boy looks" because I dont see in any way where my car has any kind of ricer apearence but once again, opinions are like a**holes and everyone has them. I posted my car on here just to show that it was different, because to me that is what its all about(which explains the ls swap) 3rd, about the wheels, since you seem to be the genius, how much wider should I go than the current 19x11 with 295's in the rear? The fenders were custom flared specifically for the measurements of these wheels. Like I originally said, to me it is about being different!

I expected for some people not to like it and thats fine because everyones opinion is different but its a little different when someone comes on here and bashes your car and rips away at all the hard work and time you put in it to make it how YOU wanted it. Im sure it took a lot of time to build the RBZ too, but the difference is that I built mine in my garage at home from start to end, not in a professional shop.
You old look was RICER

And very tacky and lame

The new look is very very nice!

there's really nothing to knoe other then wat's been said already....

-cut ur firewall to ur tranny tunnel....
-grind off some unnecessary tabs on the tranny...
-use f-body oil pan
-custom motor mount and tranny mount...my advice is use these mounts adapters.... http://i.ebayimg.com/05/!B,ZTkFQBWk~...DDfdQ~~_12.JPG ...it will move the motor back far enuff after ur hack ur firewall to where the ls1 shifter (t56) line up pretty damn close to shifter hole and the fbody oil pan will clear the rack and pinion and steering linkage...then customize ur mount from there....
-ls2 vette exhaust manifold or custom headers....

the rest is pretty much up to u and should be similar to all other swaps....i'm 3+ years into my project car and still not finish...either no time with money or no money with time...my car is pretty much all done with mock up and such...just need to paint and put motor back in one more time...

Wow that car is awesome. I drove a TT 300ZX one time and after doing donuts for 30 seconds and endless vehicle enveloping smoke filled powerslides I don't think I'll ever find a car with a better weight distribution than that car. I can only imagine a LS1. I really like those wheels too and big ups for repping SC!!!
